What happens at Children’s Church?
MBC provides age appropriate children’s worship services for children ages 5 yrs to 5th grade. Registration for Children’s Church begins at 10:45 am in the gym.  Children are taught by dedicated church members who have completed a fingerprint background check. Following free time in the gym, teachers lead the children to two rooms located in the Administration Building where children enjoy a Bible lesson, lesson-related crafts, and snacks are served. Children remain in Children’s Church until picked up by their parents (or approved guardian).
What is the music like during the worship service?
MBC’s worship team leads the congregation in songs that sing of biblical truth, utilizing a blend of hymns, gospel, and contemporary worship songs. Our primary goal is to worship Christ Jesus in “Spirit and in Truth” (John 4:24).
What are the sermons like?
MBC features expositional sermons that are focused on drawing out the meaning of the passage and applying those timeless truths to our daily lives. Senior Pastor Ken Fentress is our primary preacher. Worshippers are encouraged to come expecting to receive a message that challenges their thinking and encourages them to grow in their understanding of God, the Bible, and Christian living. What is the dress code at Montrose?
MBC encourages worshippers to dress in a manner that is appropriate and respectful of our holy God. Worshippers wear a variety of clothing styles from jeans to a full suit and tie. Wear what you have and come dressed to worship Jesus Christ our Lord.
Where are the restrooms located?
Bathrooms are located beneath the atrium of the Main Worship Center and in the Parlor across the driveway.
What do you believe about the Bible?
We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation. Click for more information about “What We Believe.”
